He ran two very good races in defeat, finishing third at Newbury and Kempton against some very fancied opposition.
Third in a maiden at Newbury, which was won by some classy horses in the past....
In searching through the literally hundreds of yearlings available in the Tattersalls Book 2 Sale, we believe we’ve unearthed a real gem of an individual who happens to already be a half-brother to the precocious, speedy, 93-rated, 2-year-old, black-type performer Rush Queen. If you view his sales video, we believe you’d really struggle to find a better mover or a more attractive yearling than this exceptional colt.
The recent Group 1 winner (Caballo De Mar) of the Irish 2000 Guineas, Phoenix Of Spain, has shot him back into relevance amongst the upwardly mobile brethren of young sires. At MPR, we’ve been lucky enough to sample plenty of success due to the exploits of our own son of Phoenix of Spain, with BOBBY BENNU (out of an Acclamation mare & Timeform rated 104). He seems to enjoy Ascot and consistently runs well there.

The reason behind the Naming of Rupert The Brave: "The name Rupert the Brave in celebration of my first Great Grandson and my son Tony’s first Grandson."
