Feature Race Winner

Sun 22 Mar 2026

Winner 37 of 2026: FAHRENHEIT SEVEN, trained by Robert Cowell and ridden by Tom Marquand. The ‘Midnite A Next Generation Betting App Handicap’ over 5f at Southwell.

It was a strong field on paper going into the race, and it was always going to be a tougher task for our lightly raced 5-year-old, up in a class off a 7-pound higher mark, after his impressive victory at Newcastle last month.

The eventual second set a very strong pace from the off, even nicking a couple of lengths at the front end, which he managed to maintain, heading into the final furlong. But Fahrenheit Seven never looked beaten, trying to reel the front-runner down, stride for stride. In the end, Tom Marquand and our son of Showcasing, kept on best to win comfortably.

It was brilliant to see the huge crowd of owners greeting him back in the winner’s enclosure, with our latest addition – Kylian – also staying on well towards the end to finish 5th.

Timeform rated his back-to-back victory with a t111:

Syndicate Manager Tim Palin on our back-to-back winner: "Congratulations, everyone. What a performance from your fella, up in class and up in the weights. And he most definitely wasn't Fahrenheit 11, he was Fahrenheit 1st. Timeform were far from confident before the race, but we silenced the doubters, and he received a TF Rating of 111 this morning. The 2nd and 3rd placed horses came into the race with solid form, so we certainly kept good company in that respect. He came out of the race fresh and well, and we look forward to making some plans for him on the turf."
