Winner 71 of 2026: GLORIOUS KITTY, trained by Mick and David Easterby and ridden by Lewis Chalkley. The ‘Hoover - Performance That Lasts Handicap’ over 7f at Carlisle.
Glorious Kitty was able to follow up on her recent victory with another gutsy front-running success. The victorious partnership disputed the lead after a rapid start but got headed at the halfway stage before our strongly travelling Glorious Kitty regained the advantage when turning for home.
Our successive winner was tough and gutsy in the closing stages, fighting off all challenges to win comfortably by a length and a half.
Making all tactics really seem to be the key with her, and credit to Mick, David and all the team at home for having her in fantastic shape, backing up her victory only 9 days later.

Timeform rated her back-to-back victory with a 76: "Was able to race from the same mark as when winning last time, her rider also able to claim a 7-lb allowance this time against fully-fledged riders and she didn't need to improve to follow up; disputed lead, pushed along home turn, went on under 2f out, edged right, kept up to work."

Winner 72 of 2026: GALILEAN QUALITY, trained by Karl Burke and ridden by Clifford Lee. The ‘attheraces.com/marketmovers Handicap’ over 1m4f at Wolverhampton.
Our very likeable and talented son of Teofilo won his third race from only 6 starts. In the four-runner race, Galilean Quality jumped slightly slower than two of his rivals, and Clifford subsequently settled him in third place, just ahead of his stable companion.
The Andrew Balding-trained Mythical Bay set a sensible pace, with few changes throughout the race. Clifford made his move to join the eventual second horse on his outer 4 furlongs from home and got taken wide around the bend. Galilean Quality drifted towards the stands' side rail but kept on and was well on top at the line.
Another fine victory from our 3-year-old, who should shape into an exciting stayer of the 3-year-old division.
