Our daughter of Sergei Prokofiev was incredibly consistent throughout her career without winning – until now. After 4 podium finishes in a row, the now 4-year-old got off the mark in good style to provide Joe Leavy with his first winner since his return to the saddle.
Having broken well, our Black Friday graduate tracked the strong early pace before being launched from the top of the straight, went through her rivals with ease, and powered clear inside the final furlong to win convincingly by 1 ¼ lengths.

Timeform rated her victory with a p77: "Not seen to best effect on handicap debut last time, finally got off the mark having been well supported in the betting, showing a nice attitude to come through between horses; in touch, headway over 1f out, led final 1f, kept on; she's been reasonably consistent and wasn't winning out of turn."

Winner 15 of 2026: LEXINGTON JET, trained by David Loughnane and ridden by Conor Whiteley (7). The ‘Chelmsford Mile Series Qualifier #5 Handicap (Chelmsford Mile Series Qualifier)’ over 1m at Chelmsford.
Another fine front-running performance from our likeable chestnut. He set some decent fractions this time around but found plenty under pressure when turning for home. It took a little while until the penny fully dropped with Lexington Jet, but with the newfound confidence after those back-to-back victories, who knows how many victories he can rack up?

Timeform rated his back-to-back victory with a p87: "Has found both the headgear and track that suits his style ideally and followed up his win earlier in the month with another wide-margin success, his claimer letting him stride clear in front and away and gone early in the straight; made all, raced freely, pushed along early in straight, drew clear final 1f, kept on; the handicapper will have another swipe after this but he's evidently suited by being able to dominate around here."
