Winner 42 of 2026: MAGICIAN OF RIGA, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Sean Levey. The ‘Free Bets On attheraces.com Handicap’ over 1m4f at Wolverhampton.

 Always held in high regard in the Richard Hannon yard. He is a beautiful, imposing individual who just needed some time to fully mature and tell us his ideal trip.

 He got off to a good start, and Sean settled him in midfield, just off the leading pairs. Our son of Time Test was travelling strongly, and let down powerfully inside the final furlong, seeing off strong challenges of the eventual second, and was well clear inside the final half furlong to win by over 2 lengths.

The first winner of our 2026 renewal of the ever - popular April Fool promotion. Massive well done to his owners.
