Winner 67 of 2026: PERSHAADA, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Sean Levey. The ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes (GBB/IRE Incentive Race)’ over 5f at Goodwood.

 Always held in very high regard at home, Pershaada took a huge step forward from her previous runs and got off the mark at Goodwood in fine style. She made her experience to good use and overcame the wide draw to sit just off the leaders in the 5-furlong contest.

Always travelling strongly in the hands of Sean, she picked up nicely at the two-furlong marker before pulling clear inside the final 200 yards to win by 1 ¼ lengths, eased down. A very comfortable success from our daughter of Persian Force, who picked up a £25.000 Tattersalls Book 1 Bonus, as well as a €10.000 IRE Incentive Voucher in the process.

Her impressive success landed her a ticket for the Royal Meeting – and all being well, we can’t wait to see her take her chance in the Group 2 Queen Mary.

Timeform rated her victory with an 82: "Beaten at short odds on her first 2 starts (both on all-weather and behind the subsequent Marygate winner Love A Giggle last time), finally showed form that lived up to her reputation, much improved and making the most of her experience, sure to have been given more to do had the runner-up been able to make her move sooner; waited with, travelled well, headway 2f out, led 1f out, quickened clear, kept up to work; likely to take her chance in the Queen Mary, when more will be required."
