Winner 54 of 2026: SHES GOT A BROTHER, trained by Mick and David Easterby, and ridden by Billy Garritty. The ‘Book The Bistro In Sherwood Restaurant Fillies' Novice Stakes’ over 5f at Southwell.
Back-to-back success for our speedy daughter of Havana Grey, who showed not only her talent, but a brilliant attitude and battling qualities.
Shes Got a Brother made a huge impression on her debut, and she again went off as a short favourite, despite her penalty. Billy knows her well and finds himself in a perfect position shortly after the start, against the stand-side rail. Bowling along in front, her high cruising speed got a lot of horses off the bridle early before she was asked to quicken further inside the final half furlong. Despite the eventual second horse staying on well, Shes Got a Brother wins a shade cosy by ¾ length, with her ears pricked.
A huge well done to her owners, she looks like an exciting prospect going forward.

Timeform rated her back-to-back success with a t82+: "Looks all about speed and showed a good attitude in defying a penalty (beat a next-time-out winner on debut); made all, went with enthusiasm, tackled entering final 1f, held on gamely; remains open to improvement."

Winner 55 of 2026: ARTH’S GOLD, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Joe Leavy. The ‘Come Racing For Free 18th June Handicap’ over 1m4f at Southwell.
Was denied his first success on his penultimate start at Southwell, where he finished a good second. Joe settled him into midfield in the 10-runner race before the pair made good headway at the two-furlong pole to dispute the lead inside the final furlong, going further clear within the last 100 yards.
A comfortable success for our now 4-year-old, who had his niggles in the past, but rewarded his patient owners with this smart success.

Timeform rated his victory with a t74: "In a change of headgear (cheekpieces reapplied) quickly back on all-weather, produced a career best as he finally got off the mark in decisive fashion, reversing the placings with Jack Andrea from when the pair met here early in the month; settled mid-field, produced to lead over 1f out, drew clear final 1f, won easily."

Winner 56 of 2026: GO LOCKERS GO, trained by Michael Bell and ridden by Daniel Muscutt. The ‘Follow @attheraces On Instagram Handicap’ over 5f at Yarmouth.
There was a strong tailwind at Yarmouth, and horses coming off the pace found it extremely difficult to have a significant say in the closing stages of the races. With that in mind, Dan Muscutt really adjusted his tactics and sat just off the pace behind the leading pair.
Go Lockers Go travelled strongly in the hands of his jockey, and hit the front with just over a furlong to go. The eventual second horse tried to chase him down inside the final hundred yards, but our gelding found plenty under pressure and was always doing enough to win by a neck.

Timeform rated his back-to-back victory with 76+: "Doesn't strike as the most straightforward but settled better back down at 5f and the ability is clearly there as he improved again, likely he did this with a bit more to spare than the narrow winning margin; in touch, headway over 1f out, led final 1f, hung left, kept on; he could bid for the hat-trick under a penalty at Windsor on Monday and will have every chance of bringing up the hat-trick if continuing to keep his focus."
