Race entries
We are very proud of our record of buying breeze up horses from Tally Ho Stud - two of the most famous horses emanating from The Guineas breeze ups in recent times, were by ourselves, from Tally Ho - notably THE PLATINUM QUEEN for 57,000gns & THE STRIKIN VIKING for 65,000gns - both racing at the top level for us before being sold on for a collective sum of £2 million.
We’re rather hoping that lightning can strike for a third time here, with this stunning filly - who rather looks like a colt it’s fair to say - who showed up in the breeze as pretty much the most progressive breezer, according to the sectionals, of the whole Newmarket Guineas Breeze Up cohort - her finishing fraction being the 5th and the 6th quickest fractions on offer - with a little further to head, we’d assert that her finishing position in the timed race ie 12th overall (5th fastest filly) would have become a top half dozen finish in another 50 yards or so - a measure that would have seen her finish as either the second or the third fastest filly of all.
Training Update: A very talented, genuine and extremely consistent filly who was unlucky not to win by now. Her record currently reads 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd... And we hope her win will be just around the corner.
Watch her impressive breeze below:
She’s pretty quick but stamina in there too, she’s out of a Kodiac mare and almost certainly destined to fulfil her career over 5f & 6f, very possibly, in black type fillies’ company as a 2yo & 3yo - she’s a very decent sized filly who should very much train on as a 3yo on the back of a distinguished 2yo career, or at least that’s what we’d hope.
She heads to the trainer of our very own, multiple Group winner Brave Emperor, Eddie’s Boy and this season’s highly promising, impressive debut 2yo winner, ALPE D’HUEZ, Archie Watson, who trained BRADSELL from the Breeze Ups.
Very exciting Tally Ho graduate who has served us so well.
