Too Darn Hot 3yo gelding out of a Lancashire Oaks winner

Disappointing on racecourse debut for the Gosdens, when carried significantly wide by another horse, he was expected to step up significantly in being sent off just 7/2 to win on his second racecourse appearance at Kempton late last year. A better run ensued, although he failed to settle, was hampered once again and weakened out of it late on. Gelded thereafter, he suffered a hairline fracture to a tibia earlier this year and has been given time to recover. 

Clearly thought of a little bit by John & Thady, and given he’s over his issues now (long may that continue), he looks set for a promising career ahead given he’s by the sire sensation TOO DARN HOT out of a Lancashire Oaks winner - there’s really no knowing where his ceiling of ability may lie? So, for our purchase price of just 10,000gns, he looks a fabulously exciting horse - a ‘no brainer’ you could say? 

A third run will qualify him for a handicap mark, and that’s where we’ll start in around 4 to 6 weeks’ time and kick on to the winners’ enclosure thereafter, all being well. 

He could run up a sequence and become a tangible asset, too, if things went really well.
