The MPR and Richard Fahey 2-year-old success story:
We have a superb record with our juveniles trained by Richard. His is our only trainer who has sent 2-year old’s that we have purchased as yearlings, to race at Royal Ascot – every year since 2017!
The owners of Ninetythreetwenty and Ventura Rebel accepted multiple six figure offers for both these 2-year olds and consequently earned a fantastic profit, so we do know how to buy a talented juvenile for Mr Fahey to train. Listed and Group winning fillies Sandiva and Lily's Angel were also superstars for us trained at Musley Bank in previous seasons.
In 2020 Ventura Diamond shone when winning the Listed Bosra Sham Stakes at Newmarket, after also winning a Conditions race and lighting up the Qatar Goodwood Festival with a win on her 2nd start.

This fabulous colt, possesses a sensational walk and moves like a dream in his slower paces. Watch his walk and profile video here:
Babylonian, our colt’s mare, has already produced the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes runner up SANTRY (best OR of 106) and by Harbour Watch, who was a dual winner in his 2yo year, prior to Royal Ascot. Both sire and dam know how to produce Royal Ascot performers and he is now a half brother to another listed winner, the 3 year old by Elzaam won a listed race at Naas, so the family is flying!
Training Update (28th Sept): He is a seriously good looking, lovely moving individual now and has plenty of size and scope. It's one thing hearing this from your trainer but seeing it with our own eyes at our weekend stable visit, really did bring home what a nice prospect we have on our hands physically. We will now just canter away on the gallops at home gradually increasing the intensity of the work that he's doing going up there to get him to a stage where he would be fit enough to go away for a couple of gallops. See some new videos of him in the gallery (he is saddle cloth number 2.)
Richard sent us the video update below, with his voiceover: "He has grown an awful lot but has really matured. He's just starting to please us and settled into his work well and he is quite a relaxed guy with no issues. A strong horse now and likes expressing himself, but he is certainly a happy fella!"
