The list of fast and high-class Richard Hannon fillies goes on and on - PERSHAADA, Tiggy Wiggy & Lyric Fantasy to name but three, and there’s every reason that this wonderfully well-bred filly could add to that illustration's roll of honour - a Donny Rocket in the making?
Her dam, the Dubawi mare NEWTOWN PIPPIN, has already produced the black-type performer FELIX NATALIS, who placed in the Rockingham Stakes at York as a 2yo over 5f and hails from the family of 2yo winners of the Prix du Calvados and also of the Prix Maurice de Gheest Gp1. It’s a speedy family, and on looks, this super strong filly (resembles a colt to some degree) looks fast & her genes suggest she should be very talented too.
Her sire GOOD GUESS proved a proper high class operator through his career, most notably winning at Group 1 level, beating our very own Group 1 performer & now stallion SHOULDVEBEENARING in so doing - he has now headed to the super sire academy that is Tally Ho Stud (Ire) whose roster in recent times has included Kodiac, Persian Force, Starman, Mehmas, King Of Steel and now Good Guess & Big Evs. Outside of Godolphin and Coolmore, they’re the dons and the epitome of stallion success stories. Good Guess is, most likely, simply their next in line.
The 88,000gns we paid last year for the Tally Ho homebred Pershaada would prove an absolute steal - so the £90,000 (before sales commissions and race entry fees) that it took to secure this stunning filly’s services could equally appear a bargain in 12 months’ time.
She qualifies for the Harry’s Half Million, held at York in August, a race we’ve won twice in the last 5 years with Song Of The Clyde & Shouldvebeenaring as well as filling the runner’s up spot in 2023 with Ziggy’s Condor - that race in 2027 will firmly be on our race radar, hopefully will the likes of Royal Ascot for another tilt at the Queen Mary, following on from this year’s 4th placing by Pershaada. Indeed, MPR were represented in 3 of the 6 @ 2yo races at Royal Ascot, and we have every intention of keeping up appearances at the Berkshire track in 2027 - MPR had 9 representatives there across the week in 2026.

Goffs Introduce New Harry’s 750 Series
Our filly has already arrived at Richard Hannon’s Wiltshire yard and is beginning the breaking-in process - she’ll be ridden within a week or so, and we can’t wait to see her under tack.
She’s a contender for all these early races, e.g. Windsor in April, The Marygate at York and, of course, ideally, Ascot in June & beyond.
