This is precisely the sort of horse that both we & Clive have won the Harry’s Half Million with in the past – ‘Shouldvebeenaring’, ‘Song Of The Clyde’ for ourselves and Diligently and Dragon Leader to boot for Clive himself. This fabulously attractive colt was the first up on our wish list being Lot 4 of the sale and we were delighted to secure him for £70,000 (before commissions and sales entry fees) He’d come in, high on Clive’s recommendation and being by the ultra-fast Commonwealth, July Cup & Nunthorpe performer DRAGON SYMBOL out of a fantastic Bobby’s Kitten mare, he looks all speed and all talent.

He’s the perfect size and moves like a dream, both on the ground and around the lunge ring and given his very precocious pedigree, being related to the high-class 2yos Nevision Lad and Pyman’s Theory, we’d like to think he’s destined for a busy 2yo career in 2027. Given MPR were represented in 2026 in The Queen Mary (Pershaada), The Chesham & The Windsor Castle in the Royal Ascot 2yo races alone, you’d even hope this colt could aspire to those sorts of levels, Clive won the Norfolk with his horse Orthodox earlier this year, and this fellow could possibly take in one of the £25,000 Goffs Uk bonus races, available for the first time, exclusively for graduates of this sale, en route there, with very much one eye on targeting the 2027 Harry’s Half Million later on - a race which afforded the two most recent winners of the contest £338k & £293k respectively - there’s even approaching £15,000 in prize money down to 10th place in Harry’s Half Million - it’s a massive pot.
