*Qualified for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper.*

We’d headed to The Tattersalls Derby Sale, expecting to purchase just one unraced 3yo, however, so impressed were the team, including Highflyer’s Anthony Bromley and Nicky Henderson himself, with this gelding, we felt we really ought to extent our purchases to two; we were determined not to leave him behind. Furthermore, we were pleasantly surprised to secure him for €40,000, he looked a bargain at the time and we remain firmly of that opinion, following his Summer, settling in. Nicky is thrilled that we have him on board our Seven Barrows team for 2018/2019.

The late sire Presenting is as influential a National Hunt stallion as there has been in the last dozen years; he churns out winner after winner, day in, day out. He has produced a whole host of top class winners too, most notably Denman, Yorkhill, War Of Attrition, Ballabriggs, On His Own, First Lieutenant, to name but a few. So when we happened to locate at the Premier Store Sale, The Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, the most attractive and loose moving individual, by this legendary sire, we had to take him most seriously and put him high on our list of potential acquisitions. At €40,000, he represents fantastic value, given his great presence and pedigree; he’s from the family of both Cheltenham and Leopardstown festival performers no less.

He looks the sort of individual who could come to hand quite quickly, for a bumper campaign. For all that it would be a pleasant surprise to see him debut this side of Christmas, you wouldn’t totally rule it out. It’s more likely he’ll race in the late Winter or early Spring, once or twice. Our record, recently, with 3yo store purchases is virtually impeccable, with the last three individuals, all winning their bumper for us, under the maestro of Seven Barrows’ tutelage. We see no reason why this fabulous son of Presenting, should prove any different.

Our three, most recent “Store purchases” for Nicky Henderson to train, from Ireland, have all won on their debut for us (El KaldounMarie’s Rock and Father John) and we see no reason why this son of the mighty Presenting won’t continue this tradition! He’s a potentially top-class prospect in the making.

Please see his walk and profile on the attached video. Nicky has just published his 2019/20 Season Previews for all of his Seven Barrows inmates. Read what he says about this son of Presenting in the gallery.

Trainer Update (28th November): He has settled into life at Seven Barrows very well and the team are delighted to have him as a member of the string. He is embarking on a mixture of fitness and education at this time and in its simplest form Nicky is moulding him into becoming a racehorse. He has a lovely outlook on life and Nicky is very excited by how he is taking it all in even at this early stage. He will of course be seen to his brilliant best when we go chasing with him but you’d be pressed to bet against him running in and winning a bumper (3 out of our last 4 bumper runners won on debut) in the 19/20 season.  An exciting horse by the brilliant Presenting.

He also gets a mention in Nicky's November 'Racing Post Stable Tour' and we have added a screenshot of that in the gallery
