We’d rate this particular purchase as arguably one of the best value for money buys of the week, given his sire Ardad has already produced the Group 1 winner and now stallion PERFECT POWER and his dam (by Galileo incidentally), has already produced a horse capable of finishing in the first 4 in the 2000 Guineas (Galeron) of his generation - so to secure what’s an absolute crackerjack of a colt for 27,000gns looks an absolute steal. Every prominent performer out of the dam has won as a 2yo, yet the family have an uncanny knack of improving into their 3yo careers too - perhaps that’s the Galileo shining through in the pedigree?
We’re sure you can sense how thrilled we were to secure him. He’s strong and robust with a great walk on him. We’re utterly delighted to have him aboard. Trainer Alice Haynes, one of the most upwardly mobile trainers in Newmarket, took a real shine to this colt, and we pitched in - the rest is history.
