Winner 61 of 2025: KEATS HOUSE, trained by Mick & David Easterby, and ridden by Joanna Mason. ‘Dropkicks Donkey Handicap’ over 1m at Musselburgh.

Since his previous win, Keats House has not returned home without winning any prize money, so it was a fully deserved second success for our consistent 3-year-old son of Earthlight. 

Joanna Mason, who knows the Keats House well, settled him towards the rear of the field after a level start to let him find his rhythm over the mile contest. The leading pair looked to have stolen the race at the front end, with even fractions throughout the race. But Keats House had different ideas, and once push came to shove, our gelding quickened nicely and within strides, he disputed the lead to win impressively by over 2 lengths. Well done to his winning owners, another hugely deserved success to everyone involved.
