Ventura Flame Glows at Hamilton

OUR 54th WINNER OF 2020: VENTURA FLAME trained by Keith Dalgleish and ridden by Shane Gray: 'Members of Hamilton Park Racecourse Handicap' over 5 furlongs, at Hamilton.
Almost a year to the day, our daughter of DANDY MAN won over course and distance and yesterday, she repeated the feat under Shane Gray. Always prominent from her outside draw, she was the last off the bridle until the furlong pole when Shane asked her to quicken. She responded and kept on nicely. to win by 1 1/4 lengths.
She has been running well - finishing in the winners enclosure in 10 of her 18 starts and yesterday was her third win. Timeform have awarded her a career best 86+.
After the race, in his interview on Racing TV, Shane said "She was due that win. She's an honest horse and it was pretty simple. She's a very genuine forward going filly and she's done that under 9 stone 10."
