Always held in very high regard by his trainer, Ziggy’s Triton shows a fine attitude this evening to get off the mark. Our son of Profitable broke quickly and was well into stride to dispute the lead after 1f. Pressed by the eventual second from a long way out, he wasn’t for passing and kept on well to secure his first victory. A fine performance from our lightly raced 3-year-old. Timeform rated his maiden victory with a 82, commenting: "Wasted no time getting back on track returned to turf/under 5-lb claimer, showing a nice attitude to hold off the runner-up; disputed lead, ridden over 1f out, edged ahead final 1f, kept on; his last effort was presumably just a blip and he ought to hold his own back in handicap company."
