WINNER 18 OF 2024: AIRSHOW, trained by Rod Millman and ridden by Mr Patrick Millman: 'The Betting.Bet Free Members Club Amateur Jockeys' Handicap ' over 7f at Chelmsford.
Drawn in the centre, he jumped well and was soon in front, pulling three lengths clear and setting a strong pace. His lead was reduced as they came to the home bend and as Patrick gave a look over his shoulder, he asked Airshow for more, to fend off the closer and on the line, he had done just that, winning by a neck.
Amazingly, his first win at Chelmsford, having won 6 times on the turf and now 7 times on the all-weather, during his career.

Timeform rated it as a p78 performance, saying: "Got off the mark for the season, seen to maximum effect under an attacking ride; forced pace, went clear before halfway, shaken up 2f out, closed down near line, just held on.”
Patrick said in his Racing TV interview: "Airshow is a real yard favourite. He's been around for a long time and he always produces a couple of wins per season and that's all you can ask for. He runs his best races from the front and is so consistent.”

It's been a phenomenal start to 2024, having had 18 winners and won £520k of race prize money and we haven't got onto the grass yet! Next Saturday we will be at the opening 'Lincoln Meeting' at Doncaster with 200 owners in our private box and we can't wait!
