Fast, faster – Lexington Blitz fast!

After his exciting seasonal reappearance at Musselburgh a couple of weeks ago, where he made all and only got run down late to finish an honourable third, we were confident of a good run, but aware that this wasn't going to be a stroll in the park in the very competitive Class 2 handicap.

Lexington Blitz broke well, but with so much pace in the race, Eddie managed to adapt the slight tactics change we had in mind before the race and took the lead, tracking the pacesetters.

He travelled so powerfully and exuberantly in the hands of his jockey that within a few strides inside the final furlong, our son of Invincible Spirit was clear by over 2 lengths and kept extending. A career-best performance from our 4-year-old, and given the way he cruised to success at Goodwood, he should have an exciting season ahead.
