Winner 78 of 2025: ZIGGY’S TRITON, trained by David O’Meara and ridden by David Nolan. The ‘Make The Move To Midnite Handicap’ over 5f at Southwell. 

ZIGGY’S TRITON was last seen on the 18th of December over course and distance, but had to overcome a 10-pound rise in the weights following his superior victory on that day. But our consistent 3-year-old (his form over C&D reads 1-1-2-3) made light work of his task.

Drawn towards the centre of the track, his regular rider, David Nolan, tracked the leading pair before making his challenge towards the stand side rail and stormed home powerfully to win again by 1 ¼ lengths.

A comfortable success, and a wonderful end to an excellent year from our son of Profitable.
