Our 49th Winner of the year: FIVEANDTWENTY trained by Mark Johnston and ridden by Jason Hart: The Watch on Racing TV Handicap over 1m 6f, at Musselburgh.

Saturday winners can be tricky to find, but it was wonderful to end yesterday with another win from our Farrh filly, Fiveandtwenty - our 5th Saturday winner in the last 6 weeks (and that missing winner was on the Sunday instead!)

Since July, she has now won all three of her turf starts; on Good ground over 1m 4f at Ripon, on Heavy over 1m 4f at Catterick and now on Good to Firm at Musselburgh over 1m 6f.

Yesterday, she put in a 'typical Mark Johnston runner' performance, as we so often hear in commentary. Making all the running and holding off the challengers in determined fashion, keeping on strongly in the final furlong to win going away, by 2 1/4 lengths. A great paced ride by Jason Hart to control the race from pillar to post and you could hear the cheers of her owners as she crossed the line!

A career best (so far) Timeform performance of 85 yesterday and she won a handy £5,200 1st prize too. She really is a filly with huge potential under both codes now, showing her versatility of ground and that she stays 14f easily. This did not escape the notice of some keen eyed share purchasers, who bought the remaining % of her!

Thank you to the team at Musselburgh for the superb hospitality given to her owners who were there - plenty of champagne we see! Well done everyone and thank you Jason Hart and the Mark Johnston team.
