Race entries

Purchased at the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale, this colt is by the 2020 leading first crop sire sensation MEHMAS.

He has made an electric start to his career at stud with over 60 winners and the likes of the Clive Cox-trained Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes and Gr.2 Richmond Stakes winner SUPREMACY, Gr. 2 GIMCRACK STAKES winner MINZAAL, Gr.3 winners FAYATHAAN, GOING GLOBAL and KEEPER OF TIME and Listed winners ACKLAM EXPRESS, METHOD and QUATROELLE leading the way. To date, he is the sire of 11 STAKES WINNERS from his first crop. Supremacy was rated the top British-trained 2yo of 2020 with a rating of 118. Read all about his sire here: http://www.tallyhostud.com/mehmas He is also now at the top of the 2nd crop sires table too (see the gallery.)

Our 3yo Mehmas colt CLARENDON HOUSE, is now 2 from 2 - he was a purchase from last year's Breeze Up's! Read a Mehmas story from the Racing Post here: https://www.racingpost.com/bloodstock/stallion-fees/mehmas-set-for-hefty-rise-on-tally-hos-seven-strong-roster/460129

Mehmas is already a record-breaking stallion and imparts both lightning-fast speed and Group class quality into his progeny, precisely what he was himself during his racing career. It’s both notable and remarkable, just how precocious and hardy his progeny seem to be, on the track. He’s already established himself as producing horses who carry the label “has a Mehmas head carriage” denoting determination and tenacity. The stride patterns of his offspring are both lengthy and raking and cover plenty of ground. They tend to perform a tad better on top of the ground to date, but it’s early days still.

Here the walk and profile video of our colt:

Watch his 'breeze' video here:

Our Mehmas colt timed the 11th fastest of over 200 of his contemporaries and we’re convinced, therefore, that he represents fantastic value for money, given his hammer price of just £17,500 (before sales house and agents commissions).

Training Update (3rd July): Karl is going to give him an entry at York on Friday over 5.5 furlongs. He might have other entries too over the weekend and next week and we'll look each race in turn when it comes to declaration time to decide where he runs. We have added a video below, of him doing a nice piece of work: He's on the far side and looks to be moving nicely and Karl says that he's showing a good attitude in his work. (See all his videos in the gallery.) His race entries/declarations will show on this page.
