Enigmatic Princess
Race entries
Racing Update:
Unfortunately she got cast in her box during storm Darragh at the back end of 2024 injuring herself as a result. She required surgery to remove a bone chip that she’d acquired whilst being cast. However, she’s right as rain now, having really filled out and enjoying her exercise, Rod reports, and we should be in for a very exciting season. The enforced lay off, maybe even turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Rod & his team are firmly of the opinion that she will be campaigned up in distance this time around, in keeping with the distaff side of her pedigree eg 1m and 1m2f. Entries and declarations will show on this page.

We think she represents exceptional value, she’s a pedigree to die for, being by the all-conquering european Champion first and second-crop sire of 2021 and 2022, MEHMAS, who now stands for a fee of €70,000 at Tally Ho Stud, after another incredible year, having sired a record number of 2-year-old winners in 2024 . She has very active pedigree too, the eldest racing progeny from the mare is only 4yo (she was a listed winner as a 2yo and finished 4th in the Italian 1000 Guineas), and the 3yo won the Italian Derby and will probably go off favourite for their big middle distance Group 2, later this month. The mare is in foal too and has a gorgeous No Nay Never filly foal at foot. Regardless of anything we achieve on the track, this filly will retain significant residual value for the paddocks. A gorgeous filly with a great walk and a great pedigree, she looks exceptional value for money, at this stage, at least. She’ll be in some of the very best hands in the business down at Rod Millman’s - she’s precisely the sort of filly he’s tended to thrive with.
