Kupa River wins-to take us to 8 winners so far this year.

Our 8th winner of the year is the Roger Fell trained KUPA RIVER.
He's a horse to test the nerves alright; 2nd by a nose and 2nd by a neck in his previous two runs at Wolverhampton,but this time, he prevailed under Luke Morris.
Luke gave Kupa River a great ride. We were concerned by him being drawn wide in 8, but he shot out of the stalls and Luke steered him across as he raced keenly, holding on to the line under a typical Luke drive. We have to apologise to our old friend Aguerooo though, as his late swoop just got him beaten on the line!

Many congratulations to his owners-they and he, deserved that victory.
