Ray Purchase *one 2.5% lease share available*

2.5% lease share available @ £95 per month from May 1st '18
Ray Purchase appears to have been a revelation this Winter, proving to be a really tough, front running nut to crack. However, we kind of saw it coming, given he had run really creditably as a 2yo in 2017 on the turf, placing and showing a good deal of promise, only to find his big frame a little too big to fill. With a few extra months on his back he has strengthened up in all the right places and has been able to back up each run in short periods of time. He seems to love front running and Southwell, in particular. We do not think it's the surface however, we believe it's because he is a progressive, front runner and that Southwell suits such a horse. He should be ideal for races around places like Musselburgh and Ripon. Still improving, as seems to be the case with Lethal Force's progeny Ray looks like the sort of individual who will race regularly in the north and win at least a further race or two this summer; he look very progressive. He's the perfect horse for anyone wishing to dip their toe into the ownership waters without an up front payment, and where you receive all the benefits of full racehorse involvement.
Here's what lessees of a horse benefit from:
- full race day owners’ badge entitlements (the quantity dependant on the % shareholding)
- receipt of all prize money earned (commensurate with percentage shareholding)
- full owners’ updates
- full access to our website and newsletters
- full entitlements to stable visits and events.

Trainer update (9th April): Keith reports Ray is fine at home. As the race we had targeted at Musselburgh was abandoned, he’s been ticking over at home and we’ve got a 7f race at Catterick in mind for him on April 25th, for his next run on the turf. We could do with a dry couple of weeks as there’s plenty of heavy ground at the moment and he’d run well on Good to Firm ground as a 2yo.
