From the Goffs Landrover Sale, where we bought our dual Grade 1 winner Marie's Rock, also trained by Mr Henderson.

Far and away the very best pedigree we’ve ever been able to source on behalf of our MPR owners, this half-brother to the multiple Grade 1 winner DON POLI, comes highly recommended. Don Poli is not the mare Dalamaine’s sole claim to fame, however, everything she touches seems to turn to BLACK TYPE gold, with her progeny’s race record being littered with Graded Cheltenham and Punchestown festival winners galore. Her progeny just seem to go from strength to strength as they mature.

This lovely 4yo gelding is a smashing individual, he’s the perfect size, at just short of 16.2hh. He looks very forward and very racy, he could hit the track in the NH season 2022/20223, most probably in a bumper, and you’d hope he could make up into a Champion Bumper type, if everything has gone well. Both hurdling and chasing should come alike, but he looks very sharp and fast to us, from what we’ve seen so far, although his genes suggest that not only could be a top top-class recruit, but he could stay particularly well, in time.

Jukebox Jury has only been on the National Hunt scene, as a stallion, for 3 seasons or so, and he’s starting to command an increasing nomination price, for mares to be covered by him. He’s had Group performers on the Flat, courtesy of his Sadlers Wells line genes, but he’s really finding his niche as a Jumps stallion, with the likes of Grade 1 Cheltenham Festival winner Farclas and Santani as well as the Grade 1 Cheltenham Festival placed, War Lord. Hurdlers and Chasers come alike to this very talented and versatile stallion. Group 1 winner Princess Zoe has been shining across both codes too - winning on hurdling debut!

You’d imagine our gelding’s future is likely to take him to any number of festivals, God willing. He has all the attributes to make up into a high-class performer, for Nicky Henderson, from his Seven Barrows base near Newbury.

An €80,000 purchase, in conjunction with the renowned Bloodstock agents Highflyer, from the Goffs Land Rover Sale in June 2022, his pedigree and physique both have the wow factor and we hope he will continue to, once he hits the track. (See the pedigree page attached, along with an update in the gallery.)

He is eligible for the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the 2023 Punchestown Festival, a €100,000 race with past winners that have gone on to become Cheltenham champions in their own right.

PEDIGREE UPDATE: His half-sister POLITESSE wins! https://www.irishracing.com/news?prid=234030

Jukebox Jury has made an exceptional start to his national hunt sire career and we think it could just be the mating that the mare needs to produce yet another top-level animal.

Training Update:  He is a big chasing type, who has had a few pops over poles and the early schooling sessions, which he completed well and was taking to these like a duck to water. He is now at  Ann Duffields* in Leyburn, north Yorkshire with Marie's Rock and our other NH horses, for his Summer break. We will then get him back into Seven Barrows for the first part of the season, get his bumper into him and then look at starting on his novice hurdle season. As we say, he’s one who has caught the team’s eye down there and is a horse that they are very much looking forward to next season. *We will hold our traditional summer owners visit to see the NH horses on their holidays with refreshments, so all his owners will be invited to this.

At Seven Barrows, with Nicky:
