Purchased at the Tattersalls Ascot yearling sale, where we purchased Ventura Rebel - who sold on for a high six figure sum, after being unbeaten in our silks!
By LETHAL FORCE, read the Racing Post story about our purchase here: https://www.racingpost.com/bloodstock/bloodstock-latest/middleham-park-racing-among-the-buyers-stocking-up-at-ascot-yearling-sale/399048. He’s an impressive young stallion, who was a very fast and precocious horse himself, yet he trained on magnificently well to take the Hungerford Stakes, the July Cup and the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot. Lethal Force has recently moved to stand in France at Haras de Grandcamp. There’s a popular saying in racing; “everyone loves a grey” and it’s pretty much true, so it was almost certainly of little surprise to breeder Richard Botterill, that, when first setting foot in the World, he turned out to be, just like his father Lethal Force, a grey!
Racing Update: Fairmac is a 3-time winner and has had a fantastic 2021. Doesn't know how to run a bad race and runs at all the top tracks. Given he’s a Mark Johnston middle distance sort, there’s really no reason why he shouldn’t continue to improve as a 4yo. His best Racing Post rating is 92 and he’s officially rated 84. Loves to front run and will stay 12f next year. He’s proven best at 10/10.5f to date. Could switch codes to hurdling at some point, which would be most exciting. TIMEFORM RATED 95.
