Purchased from the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale, where we purchased our Group 1 winner and Champion European 2yo 2013; TOORMORE  Group 2 winner VENTURA TORMENTA and dual Group 2 winner KOOL KOMPANY.

One of the least fashionably bred colts in the sale, was actually one of the very nicest individuals in the sale, certainly in our top half dozen of all 450 lots. A quite sensational, quality, individual with a big walk, this colt hails from the fantastically successful Mickley Stud (consignors of Havana grey no less). We were delighted when Karl and Kelly Burke approached us at the sale to see if we’d like to share this colt with them, such is the regard that they hold this fabulous colt in, a son of their Group 1 Prix Morny winner, and now stallion, UNFORTUNATELY.

He’s a FULL BROTHER to the sharp 2yo LISTED performer and Karl Burke trained, LOOKING FOR LYNDA. We’re led to believe by the breeders that this colt represents a much better individual than this colt’s elder sibling, suggesting his ability levels could significantly usurp the family’s achievement, to date. The sky really could be the limit with this stunning colt. It would be no surprise were he to be racing in April 2024 & be heading to several of the summer festivals, hopefully, like his sire, all around Europe.

Our catalogue notes pretty much eulogised about him, his sheer presence and fluidity of movement. His conformation is outstanding, he’s a thoroughly correct individual, and, on looks, he’s an absolute snip at £60,000.

Watch his profile video, here:

He qualifies for The 'Harry's Half Million' sales race, to be held at the York Ebor meeting 2024. In 2022 we won the equivalent race with SHOULDVEBEENARING (an £40,000 purchase) and this year, 2023, we finished 2nd with ZIGGY’S CONDOR (a £62,000 purchase). Transposed to next year’s race, those performances would net owners £245,000 and £98,000 respectively. Read the story. here: https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/renamed-harrys-half-million-by-goffs-race-will-be-worth-500k-in-2024/

He also qualifies for the valuable Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury next summer - which we won with EDDIE'S BOY in 2022.

Furthermore, this colt qualifies for a €10,000 'IRE' bonus, should he win a qualifying maiden or novice Stakes race in 2024. You can read more about how it works, here: https://www.itm.ie/Buying/Sales-Incentives/IRE-Incentive

Outstanding value for money, in our opinion.

Pedigree update: 'Own brother: Looking For Lynda (IRE) (20 g. by Unfortunately (IRE)): 2 wins at 2, 2022 and £42,530 and placed 3 times. Under 3rd dam, PEERESS (GB), dam of: Kinsman (GB): 6 wins, £45,197 viz. winner at 2 and placed; also 5 wins to 2022 in Sweden and placed 9 times inc. 2nd Zawawi Cup, L.'

His race entries/declarations, will show on this page.
