This Plus 10 registered BAHAMIAN BOUNTY filly arrives at Karl Burke's, from the Goffs Silver Sale; the same sale where Quiet Reflection was purchased, also by Karl. She is similarly bred for speed, being out of a Mujadil mare. Her dam has already produced a winner in Street Kitty and Bahamian Bounty would inject a lot more speed into the pedigree than Tiger Hill would have done from that winning filly.

She is from a particularly strong Group 1 family, (Golden Apples, Alexander Three D and La Piaf,) so our filly has a very solid distaff line. There's every reason to believe that she will be a high class 2 year old next year. She is an early foal and is Plus 10 registered, so we are very much looking forward to seeing her on the race course.

Latest Trainer Update (9th Sept): Karl reports that she is fine this morning after her debut. We were pleasantly surprised by her run yesterday, considering that Karl wanted to run her without being fit, to give her experience. She laid up well and showed good speed for 4 furlongs before he lack of fitness came to the fore and she fell in a heap. Karl said that she had a proper blow afterwards. He also said that she’s never shown that sort of speed at home as she’s so lazy. It was certainly a worthwhile exercise giving her a run and hopefully that will wake up her ideas at home. The timeform comments “low expectations from the market, lost her place quickly over 2f out, but the speed she showed to that point (disputed lead) is a building block.”  Sums it up well. We have a race in mind for her next at Beverley in two weeks.
