“Middleham Park Racing is the winning most syndicate in the country and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to train for them. We have been very fortunate over the years to have had some fantastic horses together, including Toormore, Kool Kompany, Raymond Tusk and our 2016 Group One winner, Ventura Storm. Overall the whole experience is top notch, both on and off the racecourse, with regular stable visits with us and some fantastic days out racing.”

"What Middleham Park Racing offer is the chance for people to get into ownership, who may otherwise not be able to and their results speak for themselves."
Horse racing is often referred to as the ‘Sport of Kings’, with wealthy owners dominating the fields worldwide and spending millions on their bloodstock empires. If you are an avid flat racing fan, you’ll be familiar with names such as Al Shaqab, Coolmore, Godolphin, Prince Khalid Abdullah, Qatar Racing to name but a few of the top owning enterprises.
Our colours regularly line up alongside such colossal opposition, taking the spoils on many an occasion, as you can see from the homepage photograph of Viren’s Army winning the Listed Dee Stakes at Chester.
"Being in the paddock wearing your owners badge at top class meetings is so thrilling!"
2018 was a very successful year for us, producing 88 winners, record prize money of £1.4m and returns on Bloostock sales for owners of £1.9m-our highest ever.
Tim Palin, our founder says: "You could make a cogent case for 2018 being Middleham Park Racing's most successful year ever. Many of the statistics tend to suggest this is the case, most notably bringing up our groundbreaking 1000 winners score in November. I never would have even dreamed of having 1000 runners when setting up our racehorse syndication hobby alongside founder member Simon French, let alone 1000 winners. A big thank you goes out to Simon, who had many contacts back in those days, as we set out our non-profit making syndication hobby. A lot has changed since those early days of the late 1990's but MPR has been a fantastically enjoyable journey ever since.
2018 brought up our largest ever prize money haul statistic, backed up by our largest ever income in a calendar year for horse sales. As you can see from such statistics, we are significantly outperforming all other British syndication companies in such regards. Our winners' tally of 88 is almost double that of our nearest rivals so it's fair to say that we've retained our position as the market leaders in Great Britain for racehorse syndication.
2019 looks every bit as promising, with a super strong team, including over 40 unraced for MPR, horses on our books alongside a fabulous cohort of existing ones that have contributed to this season's successes.
We have welcomed over 100 new owners recently which is wonderful and we would like to thank all our owners for their valued support in 2018 and indeed for many, a number of years. We will continue to do our best to provide them with ownership winners and fun at the races."
After our 1,000th winner success in November, there was a nice story published by Great British Racing, where Tom Palin was interviewed about our history. You can read it here: http://www.inthepaddock.co.uk/1000-up-for-mighty-middleham-park/
