Updates on our yearlings distract us from the disappointment of losing the Ayr meeting!

Sun 24 Sep 2017

With 17 horses declared to run at the Ayr Western meeting, we thought the 900th winner was waiting in the wings, but sadly for all connections of the horses, it was not to be. So instead, we have been thrilled to be receiving news on some of our yearlings as they settle in to their new regimes.

The Richard Hannon cohort are coming along nicely, with some already at Richard's Herridge yard and others nearby in Lambourn, with Magee Equine. Jamie and Judy Magee have looked after many of our yearlings over the past few seasons and do a superb job with their education, bringing them along when they are ready. This week our team member Dave Bourton went along to see them all and to get progress reports for their new owners.

As you can see from the attached photos, the two Le Havre fillies, who were the first purchases at Arqana in August, are really ahead of the game and are already "very professional"! There's also a photo of the Bungle Inthejungle colt, who is at Herridge and has also now been ridden. He too, is very forward and enjoying his new life by all accounts. You can see new photos and updates on all the Richard Hannon yearlings on their pages.

Don't forget that we will be heading to Herridge to view our yearlings with Richard on October 28th, so you are welcome to join the team if you are interested in purchasing a share. See the related news story link on the right for details on how to book.
