Following his win back at the track, over 1m 6f seven days ago, he was back at the track, this time up in trip to 2 miles, for the first time. James got him settled towards the rear and turning for home, he loomed up on the outer and was ridden to take the lead about 1f from home. Pulling clear, he took the race 'readily' by an amazing 6 1/2 lengths!
