Marie's Rock impresses on debut

Well it was worth the wait for the owners of MARIE'S ROCK. Our 4 year old daughter of Milan was seeing a racecourse for the first time as the sun was setting last evening and Ffos Las. 

We purchased her at the Goffs Landrover Sale last year for €35,000. She has been steadily brought along by her trainer Nicky Henderson and every report that we had sent to her owners was getting more and more promising! She made a very taking debut in the Mares’ Bumper under Nico De Boinville to win by nearly 3 lengths under hands and heels. The Racing Post reported: "Tracked leaders, challenged going well 3f out, led over 1f out, ran on well and in command final furlong, pushed out."

Well done team Seven Barrows on a four-timer yesterday and many congratulations to her owners, that was very nicely done - she looks an exciting prospect.

Here’s an owner stat that deserves a mention: Both Marie’s Diamond and Marie’s Rock have won on debut under both codes. They were named by Mr R Hadley after his wife Marie and her penchant for 💎 Now that's a lucky owner!
