Stable Staff Race Winner - MASHAAN, trained by Alice Haynes and ridden by Sophie Cobley over 6f at Nottingham.
This years Racing Staff Week took place from the 21st to 27th June 2025. An annual celebration, organised by Racing Welfare, aims to highlight the dedication and hard work of the staff across the Racing and Breeding industry.
They are the backbone of the racing industry, whose hard work makes our great sport possible, and without, us owners wouldn’t be able to enjoy the fun and adrenaline of our sport and the thrill of horse racing. During this week, various events and activities will be held across the country to honour racing staff and their contributions.
Additionally, there are stable staff races held at various racecourses, and exactly one of those races went the way of Mashaan, and his regular work rider, Sophie Cobley, for Alice Haynes.
A wonderful cause, and we are proud to have been able to play a small part in a terrific week, organised by our long-term partners Racing Welfare.
Huge congratulations to our owners in Mashaan, Sophie, who has given our 7-year-old a beautiful ride, and of course to Alice, for keeping him in such great shape.
