Purchased from the Tattersalls Ireland Yearling Sale, this filly is by CAMACHO. Read about her sire here: http://yeomanstown.ie/camacho/
He’s been around for a while, has the sire, Camacho, and that should be no surprises given the number of winners he churns out, including classic winners; most notably, the French 1000 Guineas winner, Teppel. He has a reputation for being a better sire of fillies than colts, which his stats tend to back up and given he’s proven, and very adept, we always give his yearling progeny a second look.
It’s fair to say that this filly blew all of our Bloodstock team away when we first saw her. She ticked all our boxes. She has great strength, but elegance at the same time and carries here self in such a balanced way that we’re sure she’ll be a fabulous mover, in her faster paces. She’s an exceptional individual. Add to that, her very strong gene pool, she’s a half-sister (by Lord Shanakill) to a black type performer, capable of running to around the 100 mark.
At £34,000, she qualifies perfectly for the Weatherby’s Super Sprint at Newbury, a race Richard Hannon seems to ‘farm’ these days as well as the €300,000 Tattersalls Super Sales race, held at The Curragh in September. Should she come to hand early, you could easily see her forming part of the MPR, Royal Ascot team for 2021 and if she were to be another Teppel or Happy Romance, you could perfectly understand why. She ticks a very many, number of boxes.

Training Update (18th February): Richard is saying that he thinks she will be one of his earlier types, as she is coping with the 2 year old regime well. She is a good sized, athletic filly with long limbs, a long stride and has a good temperament. Tim, her syndciate manager says "She has a bit of a swagger - it's what our whole bloodstock team fell in love with at the yearling sale. She has a good head bob on her in the video and looks strong." Richard has sent us the update video below, with his voiceover regarding her progress. (See all her videos in the gallery.)
