We have our largest ever team heading to ROYAL ASCOT

Sun 11 Jun 2017

Our ROYAL ASCOT string is the largest we have ever sent to the Royal Meeting and it looks set to be a very exciting week for the owners involved, who tell us: “It doesn't’t get any better than to have a runner at Royal Ascot - it’s a dream”.

It is the pinnacle of the flat racing season and when we buy our yearlings and see them progress, we hope that they can be good enough to line up in the prestigious and valuable races on the card.

We have 6 horses who will be heading to the meeting and their syndicate managers explain their plans here:

Tuesday: 3.05 The £150k Group 2 Coventry Stakes over 6f - DE BRUYNE HORSE (Richard Hannon)

“De Bruyne Horse (pictured winning the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom), goes into The Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot as the Timeform top rated for the race with a 104p.  On the form book, he looks to hold a favorites' chance. He continues to improve with every race and he looks a Group performer, win, lose or draw “. Tim Palin

Tuesday: 5.35 The £80k Listed Windsor Castle Stakes  over 5f - SIMMY'S COPSHOP (Richard Fahey)

“In our eyes, he’s a Listed winner without a penalty. They got embroiled in a bit of a speed battle in the Rochestown Stakes at Naas and our horse stayed on well to finish 3rd. He’s the only horse of course to have beaten Havana Grey!” Tom Palin

Wednesday: 3.05 The £110k Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes over 5f - LADY ANJORICA (Keith Dalgleish)

Thursday: 5.00 The £120k Heritage handicap Britannia Stakes over 1m - DEVIL'S BRIDGE (Richard Hannon)

“Devil's Bridge ran really well at Chester and fully deserves an entry in The Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot on the Thursday of the meeting. He has been a really consistent performer for his owners and warrants taking his chance for a big pot such as this.“ Tim

Friday: 2.30 The £80k Group 3 Albany Stakes over 6f – MISS BAR BEACH (Keith Dalgleish)

“Miss Bar Beach confirmed the promise of her debut run by winning by 4 1/2 lengths at Hamilton. She was still a little green during the race so could improve further and deserves the chance to be stepped up in class in the Albany”. Mike Prince

Saturday: 5.00 The £175k Heritage handicap Wokingham Stakes over 6f – NAADIRR (Kevin Ryan)

“Naadirr remains on course for the Wokingham on the Saturday of the Royal meeting; a race we have been targeting with him for some months. He is in good form at home and if he gets his ground should enjoy himself! Tim
