PREMIER BOND GETS 2017 OFF TO A WINNING START!

Mon 02 Jan 2017

Two runners on Monday, both at Southwell: We start with Vision of Beauty (Dalgleish) who runs in the 1 mile 3 furlong fillies maiden under Connor Beasley. This filly has run two very promising races so far, finishing 3rd on both occasions. We are hopeful she might appreciate this surface too as she has a big long stride and high knee action which will hopefully mean this surface and style of racing will suit her well.

Our other runner is Hail Clodius (Hannon) is the 1 mile claimer under Tom Marquand. This fella is very talented and takes a big step down in class today but he has had a few issues keeping his off the track and hopefully this class will help him get his confidence up. The surface should suit as he likes a bit of cut in ground on turf.
Good luck to both sets of owners.

A series of firsts for PREMIER BOND and Middleham Park Racing. First day of a New Year, our first runner is our first winner of 2017 and it was Jake Greenall's first time up on Premier Bond for Premier's first win over fences.

Premier Bond stormed to a 13 lengths victory in the 3m2f Chase at Catterick yesterday and very much looks like he could be a future Grand National sort. Congratulations to all his owners for the perfect start to 2017 for us all.
