Our current list of race 'Entries' is looking rosy..

Fri 23 Feb 2018

All the turf action may well be over obstacles at the moment, but there isn't long to wait for the flat turf season! This week our list of Entries shown here on our website, was bolstered by not only Cheltenham Festival races for Divine Spear, but a Group race for Miss Bar Beach and a rather valuable £70k added Conditions race for Ventura Knight on the A/W next week.

See them here: http://www.middlehamparkracing.net/entries.htm

DIVINE SPEAR - the owners in his syndicate are getting extremely excited about the opportunity of attending 'The Festival' with a runner and so they should be. It is the dream of any National Hunt owner and we are very lucky to have a horse that his trainer Nicky Henderson says "will have a nice chance."

MISS BAR BEACH - Her trainer Keith Dalgleish is pleased with her at home, so much so that he gave her a piece of work last week and she seems to be coming to hand very early this season. She has been given an entry in the Early Closing Group 3 race at Cologne over a mile for 3yo fillies. She won twice at 2 and ran really well in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood (pictured) to take 3rd and for a filly we bought for just €9,000 her owners have done very well with her already!

After Keith's superb campaigning with our multiple black type winning filly Clem Fandango, we think our daughter of Chosir has a bright season ahead under his care.

VENTURA KNIGHT - Our 3yo son of Casamento had a superb 2yo season, winning 4 times. His trainer Mark Johnston reports that Joe Fanning rode him at home this week and was happy with him, so we look forward to seeing him out hopefully next week to begin his 3yo campaign.
