7f Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton

Everything went wrong for him, as he anticipated the start and had his head on the floor as the gates opened! Drawn unfavourably in 10 too, it looked as though his chances were over as he was left out the back.

Alistair Rawlinson didn't give up and although he had to track wide, his finishing speed saw him fly to the front on the outside of the field. A truly remarkable recovery considering where he was after 1/2 a furlong!

We and his new owners were absolutely thrilled with his performance on his first start for ourselves and Mick Appleby. We purchased him at the Tattersalls Autumn sale from France and after this win, we feel he has an exciting career ahead with Mick!
