Good Tyne Girl wins on her second start and is our 25th winner of the year

Tue 22 May 2018

The attractive RICHARD FAHEY trained grey filly by Requinto, came 3rd in her first career start at Ripon after being slowly away, but yesterday at Leicester she flew out of the stalls!

She bowled along in the 5f race, just in behind the leaders, then Paddy Mathers asked her to quicken about 1f out, she responded, changed gear and moved to the front and was just pushed out to the line.

In his Racing UK interview after the race, Paddy said that he knows her well, she was getting a bit buzzy heading out to the track and you could see how much he likes her as he was giving her pats and ear rubs to reassure her that all was well and to keep her energy contained for the race-which clearly worked!

We are delighted for all her lease shareholders, some of whom have never had a share in a racehorse before-so many congratulations on your winner.

Richard had a four timer yesterday and is in amazing form. Good Tyne Girl is our second 2yo winner from the yard and we are excited to see our next Musley Bank 2yo debut next week: VENTURA BAY worked really well on the grass and finished hot on the heels of NINETYTHREETWENTY (our fellow Dragon Pulse colt and debut winner), despite setting off later than him. We have therefore made two entries for him to make his debut this Saturday over 6f in a £20k Class 2 at Chester and a £15k Class 3 at York.

Shares are available, so don't miss out (as many did with Ninetythreetwenty). See his full details here:,ventura-bay-by-dragon-pulse-entered-to-debut_159.htm

We have now had five 2yo winners, so our juveniles are clearly a good bunch.

Mind you, all our string are on fire at the moment-since Friday we have sent out 17 runners: 5 have won, 3 have been 2nd and 3 placed 3rd, so that's a nice 11 of them in the top 3...
