Alex Gracie brings up our half-century of 2020 winners!

OUR 50th WINNER OF 2020: ALEX GRACIE trained by Scott Dixon and ridden by Jonathan Fisher: 'The Every Race Live on RacingTV Selling Handicap' over 6 furlongs at Thirsk.
This was only her second start on turf, as she has been plying her trade on the all-weather. Placing 2nd or 3rd five times, she had been threatening to bag a win and yesterday she belied her odds of 28/1! Under a great rude by Jonathan Fisher, she broke well and made all down the centre of the track, keeping on well in determined fashion in the final furlong, to win by a length.
It was lovely to see her afterwards looking pleased with herself, as she and Jonathan walked back to the lorry to head home to Scott's yard at Southwell:
