Airshow flies home at Southwell!

The feature £15,000 5f Betway Sprint Handicap- Southwell.

Coming into the race after 134 days off, we thought that Airshow might need the race, but he flew out of the stalls under Alistair Rawlinson and led at the 3f pole. He was then headed, but as Alistair asked him give a little more, he really battled to regain the lead well inside the final furlong and win by a neck.

It was his fourth career win and the first in our colours since we purchased him at the Tattersalls H-I-T sale. What a start to the year for Mick Appleby it was yesterday, as he notched up a treble - he really is a force on the All-Weather!
