Race entries

Middleham Park Racing has expanded its operation into Ireland – home to where is, without doubt, one of the strongest racing calendars in the world, with the likes of Coolmore, Juddmonte, Godolphin, Shadwell and HH Aga Khan all racing there. With that comes great rivalry and in turn, if good enough, a terrific opportunity.  It is fair to say that an Irish Maiden winner at 2 or 3 years, is worth a significant amount of money and the aim here is to produce a racehorse which fits into this exact category. There are some wonderful racecourses and facilities in Ireland and being so accessible from the UK, it seems like the obvious next move.

Here we have an extremely well-bred son of DATA LINK, a Gr.1 winning & first season sire who is a son of stallion sensation WAR FRONT, who’s progeny are breaking records on both sides of the Atlantic.  He is the first foal of a winning Awesome Again mare who is a sister to Royal Ascot winner War Envoy OR 111 (son of War Front). The grand dam was a stakes winner and there is a champion of her generation on the page in the mighty Winning Colours.  He comes with a full vet cert along with a set of x-rays and will be trained by the renowned Curragh based trainer, Ken Condon.

Latest Trainer Update (15th August):  Port Lincoln is fit and well and doing routine daily canters - a couple of photos taken this morning have been added above. Ken is allowing him to come-to hand in his own time and will gallop him when he feels he is ready.  He will work him over the coming weeks and we should learn a lot more about him then.  Ken very much hopes to have Port Lincoln out this season, with the aim of running very well on debut.
