Park Hill Dancer
Race entries
Here we have, as exciting an individual as we’re able to afford here at Middleham Park Racing. Jonbon was always destined to be a superstar, given his price tag of £570,000 following his debut P2P victory last year, but Nicky Henderson has also been able to purchase superstars on budgets just one notch down from Jonbon’s; notably Shishkin for £170,000 and Constitution Hill for £120,000, following their debut wins.
PARK HILL DANCER was a winner on debut of a P2P bumper, in December 2021, over 2 miles, beating a Trevor Hemmings horse impressively, into second, which was backed off the boards on the day, as if defeat was out of the question. The pair pulled well clear of the 3rd in the straight and very interestingly, his division of the bumper was run in a time 7 seconds quicker than the second division. We’re hoping that this young gelding, can develop into our next Marie’s Rock (now a dual Grade 1 winner), or just possibly a Shishkin or a Constitution Hill!

Outstanding Pedigree - By the up and coming, German Derby winner Waldpark, he a half-brother to the Grade 2 winner SONG FOR SOMEONE (check out his exciting pedigree attached to this page), so his profile looks immaculate. Just short of 16.2hh he looks destined, hopefully, for a stellar career under the second to none tutelage of the master of Seven Barrows, Nicky Henderson OBE.
Here he is trotting:
Hurdles and fences are his real future, but the speed he showed in winning his P2P bumper and his rules debut demonstrates his high level of ability.

Racing Update: Possibly the most exciting young National Hunt horse we have on our books. Unbeaten in his two races so far, this half-brother to the Grade 2 winning hurdler, Song For Someone, spreadeagled his opposition in his latest bumper at Exeter, sauntering to a 17 lengths, head in chest victory in a very good time. Awarded both Racing Post and Timeform ratings that day, commensurate with those of a high-class recruit. Undergoing the schooling process at Nicky’s Seven Barrows Stables, he’s pretty much ready to debut, and who knows where he will take us….? Goes about his business in a no-nonsense fashion at home. Grand National winning, former jockey, Marcus Armitage often rides him at home and they get on well. His race entries/declarations will show on this page.
