ZOFFANY deserves a place at the top of the Middleham Park sires' tree, for he provided us with one of our three Group 1 winners in Ventura Storm, so we always pay extra attention to his progeny at the sales. This son of Zoffany, out of the Galileo mare Heliocentric ticked all our boxes and was Bloodstock agent Ross Doyle's 'nap of the day' at the sale. Heliocentric has already produced two very talented performers and we see no reason why this son of Zoffany should prove to be any different. From a sale that has afforded us both Clem Fandango and Raymond Tusk from a small cohort of purchases, the Arqana August Yearling Sale offers fabulous individuals with very strong pedigrees and it's no surprise that both French Guineas winners in 2018 were purchased at the Deauville Sales complex. The complex has been a very happy hunting ground for many, not just ourselves.
He is qualified for Owners' premiums in France, which means in flat races, open to foreign runners, owners of qualified French-bred horses, receive a premium for all places in receipt of prize money: 64% of prize money for 2yo’s 3yo’s and 4yo’s and 43% of prize money for 5yo’s and upwards. He looks the sort of horse who will progress throughout his career.
