Two years ago we and our bloodstock agent Federico Barberini purchased an Elzaam filly for €11,000 - she was named Clem Fandango. She was a maiden winner, 3rd in the Queen Mary, 2nd in the Hilary Needler and won the listed Harry Rosebery stakes at Ayr, storming clear by over 31/2 lengths. She went on to win over £100,000 of prize money in her career.
Here we have another €11,000 Elzaam filly, bought by the same team, this time from the TATTERSALLS IRELAND YEARLING sale, who is very much in the same mould as Clem' : A very athletic individual, she is out of a High Chaparral mare, so she should stay further than 6f in time. Her page has a lot of international black type in her pedigree; from America, Italy and from home.
Trainer update (27th May): She’s progessed nicely as a 3yo winning twice and being placed 3 times. She’ll head to Ripon on Wednesday hoping to continue that progreassion.
