Curragh - Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes
Purchased at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale, this colt is by Acclamation. Please see his walk video on this page.
This colt is the complete package: A pedigree oozing with black type performers. He has all the quality you would expect being by Acclamation, who has sired so many very good horses over the years. Expert Eye's win in the Breeders Cup Mile last year is the 5th Group/Grade 1 winner for the sire. Read more here: http://www.rathbarrystud.com/cms/stallions/acclamation/acclamation/
Season after season Acclamation has been producing winners at the very highest level and we can see no reason why this son of the prolific sire will not be continuing this. A gorgeous, free moving colt who not only has the conformation and looks but also the pedigree, he is half brother to no fewer than 3 individuals rated north of 90 but even more excitingly, his pedigree is very active; 2 out of the mares last 3 progenies have been rated in the 90’s.
We fully expect this colt to be out in the first part of the season, making a likely debut over either 5 or 6 furlongs and then hopefully taking his owners to Royal Ascot in the same way our own 2 year olds Simmy’s Copshop and Ninetythreetwenty did for Richard Fahey owners in the last couple of seasons. Ninetythreetwenty subsequently catching the eyes of Hong Kong buyers, providing his syndicate with a healthy return in the process, when they voted to accept a substantial 6 figure offer for him.
He qualifies for the very valuable auction race held at The Curragh during Irelands premier meeting of the year the Irish Champions weekend, this race carries a €300,000 pot and looks tailor made for him.
This really does offer owners the opportunity to be involved a quality horse with the north's leading trainer of two year olds. This colt looks like a ready made Royal Ascot type and come highly recommended.
He is 'Plus 10 Bonus' registered-read more here: http://plus10bonus.com/
Trainer Update: NEW VIDEOS ADDED. He was certainly "the talking horse" at our owners stable visit at the weekend. He went up the gallops very well and Richard couldn't be happier with him. He has the sire, the pedigree and the long stride which makes him at this point of his career, a very exciting colt for his owners to look forward to. He was ridden by Paul Hanagan and we have added a video of them heading to the gallops, along with one of him cantering. Syndicate manager Tom calls him his "2019 Ninetythreetwenty."
Richard has entered him in the €300,000 6f Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes (Plus 10 Race), on Sunday 15th September at The Curragh.
