WINNER 32 OF 2023: BLUE YONDER, trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Oisin Orr: The 'Racing Again on Tuesday 16 May Handicap' over 1m 2f at Beverley.
Breaking well from stall 9 on the outer, Oisin just let others take it on and settled in mid-division on the outer. Travelling strongly as they came around the bottom of the hill, Oisin just gave him a squeeze and he responded, picking them off coming up the home straight. Going easily over 2f out, as others dropped away, he took the lead over 1 furlong out and quickly pulled clear, allowing Oisin to look over his shoulder, to win easily, by 5 and a 1/2 lengths.

Timeform rated it as a career best 72+, saying: "Was well backed and progressed again to get off the mark in impressive fashion, value for even more than the sizeable winning margin; in touch, travelled smoothly to join leader 2f out and quickened clear soon after, eased close home.”
There was no Racing TV post race interviews, but Oisin told us: "He's won well and everything went smoothly. He's a lovely relaxed horse and should get further in time."

Syndicate manager Tom says: "Congratulations to Richard and Oisin on their double at Beverley. I love it when a plan comes together! Oisin made the right decision to wait and let them get on with it, before pressing any buttons and he put the race to bed quickly. Richard and I have some race options for him next that we have identified and I let his owners know this morning. It was great to see so many of their smiling faces at Beverley and rightly so, there are some lovely shots in Hannah's photo gallery. Well done to his syndicate.”
