We love a double

Winner 32 of 2025: AZURE ZAIN, trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Jack Garritty. ‘Highbet Weekly Racing Rewards Club Restricted Novice Stakes ‘ over 6f at Wolverhampton.

Azure Zain has proved on his two previous starts that it would be just a matter of time until he gets his head in front, and with a powerful and impressive performance, he did just that on a sunny afternoon at Wolverhampton.

Jack kept it simple and disputed the lead after a great start. The second favourite kept Azure Zain up to his work, but our son of Hello Youmzain, kicked when turning for home and within strides, managed to gain a healthy advantage over the other raiders. He galloped on resolutely and in the end, won impressively by over 6 lengths. A fantastic performance, having still shown signs of greenness in the closing stages, affording a lofty Timeform Rating of 85.

Timeform rated his maiden victory with a 85, saying: "Whose yard is going better now, showed much improved form to get off the mark whilst still having something to learn, able to lead after breaking on terms this time and soon in command when asked; made all, went clear early in straight, hung left final 1f, easily."

Syndicate Manager Tom Palin said after the race: "Congratulations all. Nice to see him getting his head in front this afternoon. He is very talented, but equally green and still raw and immature. But the ability is definitely starting to come through. The eventual second was the most experienced horse in the race, and a good assesement of form, or barometer if you like. After his setback in August, it was so nice to see him win his maiden in such fine style, entitled to improve further."

Winner 33 of 2025: LIMA SIERRA, trained by Nigel Tinkler and ridden by Rowan Scott. ‘Join Racing TV Now Handicap’ over 6f at Catterick.

A thoroughly deserved victory for our daughter of Kodi Bear, who is never beaten far, and collected prizemoney on most of her previous starts. She made the most of her inside draw, jumped well and made the running, sticking close to the rail all the way. She always did enough to keep the favourite in bay and won comfortably by half a length. Very well done to our genuine filly and all her owners.

Timeform rated her victory with a 62, saying: "A positive ride suiting her well from stall 1; soon led, ridden over 1f out, kept on."

A fantastic day in the office, with our Chalice Beauty finishing a close 3rd on debut, and Ziggy's Triton an agonising close 2nd! Well done to all our owners.
