WINNER 12 OF 2023: USTATH, trained by Roger Fell and ridden by Jonny Peate (-5): The 'BetUK Over 40,000 Live Streamed Races Handicap' over 6f at Southwell.
He is such a standout is Ustath, with his white socks and big white blaze - you can never miss him and is a credit to Roger's yard, winning 'best turned out' - and not for the first time!
Drawn in 1, he made his usual swift exit from the stalls. Disputing the lead, he then pressed the leader to narrowly take the lead 3f out. Coming down the centre of the home straight, he was headed and carried right, but battled back gamely in the final 110yds, to win by a nose (see the photo finish in the gallery.)

Timeform rated it as a t65, saying: "Claimer ridden, battled back to resume winning ways, this already his third win of the year; close up, led 3f out, headed final 1f, rallied to lead again post."
Syndicate manager Mike says: "Well done to all his owners on yet another win from him. This was his 9th career win, with 7 of these having come at the track: 3 on the fibresand and 4 on the tapeta, he just loves Southwell! Nice ride from Jonny too to get him back up."
